Wood Study

I wanted to practice my wood sculpting and texturing, so I created this project.
The goal was to push detail as far as I could, and to make wood as realistic as possible.

Sculpting was done in ZBrush, and texturing was done in Substance Painter
For brushes I used Clay Buildup, Dam Standard, Trim Adaptive, and I used custom alphas for the tertiary detail.

The first few images are the final textures I landed on, and the others are variations I made along the way.
